A proposito di questo titolo
The best aerial technique won't land 21-year-old Thora James her dream role in Amour, a sexy new acrobatic show on the Vegas strip. Thora knows she's out of her element the second she meets Amour's leading performer. Confident, charming, and devilishly captivating, 26-year-old Nikolai Kotova lives up to his nickname as the "God of Russia". When Thora unknowingly walks into the crosshairs of Nikolai's after-show, her audition process begins way too soon.
Unprofessional. That's what Nik calls their "nonexistent" relationship, but it's not like Thora can avoid him. For one, they may be partners in the future - acrobatic partners, that is. But getting closer to Nik means diving deeper into sin city and into his dizzying world.
Thora wants to perform with him, but when someone like Nikolai attracts the spotlight wherever he goes, Thora fears that she's destined to remain in the background of his spellbinding show.

Good, but could be better
I had really high hopes for this book (and the series actually) because it's written by the authors of one of my favourite series of all time, the Addicted series, which is, as you can guess from the title, quite addictive.
Well, I was disappointed! The book isn't anything special, it's not bad my any means but it's not remarkable or worth mentioning basically ever again. There were a few things that gave me the ick and the good didn't wash out the bad unfortunately.
What I enjoyed were the main characters, taken separately, they were nice and likable, and I especially love Nikolai's personality and personal choices. I actually enjoyed the main plot, I love the fact that she always had a choice. AND of course I love all the Kotovas and the fact that the quote my beloved core six from time to time.
What I didn't like is:
- the choice to mention and use a piercing gun to pierce people (random people at the club!!) and especially the choice to piecing the FMC nipples with said gun. Also I guess Thora has magic nipples because I can't believe they didn't hurt or that the hurt wasn't worth mentioning.
- the size difference trope, I hate it so so much! is he a giant 10-foot lizard? No? Then please for the love of everything's holy stop mentioning how the two of them wouldn't fit together.
- the character of Shae, he's such a pain in the ass! I wrongfully mistaken him for the love interest in the first few chapters and I guess it went downhill from that.
