A novel set in Atlanta in the 80s which revolves around bigamist James Witherspoon's two families: the public one and the secret one. This story inspired Alma to learn about “Consensual Non-Monogamy” which refers to a romantic relationship in which all partners agree to engage in sexual and romantic relationships with others.
