No Stars to All Stars

  • My podcast will be about how not only D1 athletes can make it to the professional level and even at the NAIA level there is good talent. Each episode I will go over a different athlete and go over what non D1 school they went to and their path to the professional level. The reason for my podcast name is because in a lot of sports if a player has a lot of “stars” it means they are projected to be good but that doesn’t mean that a player who wasn’t projected to be good out of high school can’t make it all the way.

With the NAIA baseball season coming to an end, I wanted to discuss the school and the history behind LCSC hosting the NAIA world series. I also went into a couple of the players that played at LCSC that are in the MLB.

In my third podcast, I talk about one of the best NBA players of all time in Elgin Baylor. Baylor is in the Hall-of-Fame and was honored as one of the NBA’s 75 best players. Baylor went to a small college in Idaho and is a product of the NAIA level. Baylor’s story is simply an inspiration for all, especially NAIA athletes.
